Trade Carbon Steel
Carbon Steel is a metal that does not contain substantial amounts of alloying materials other than carbon. Carbon Steel is a metal alloy that is a combination of iron and carbon. Steel with relatively low carbon content exhibits the same properties as iron. There are commonly 3 types of carbon steel, low, medium and alloy steel each type named due to the concentration of carbon found within the alloy. As the level of carbon content rises the metal becomes harder and stronger but less ductile and more difficult to weld.
